Gangu Ramsay, who was ill for the last one month, was undergoing treatment at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. Gangu Ramsay, who was a part of Ramsay Brothers, worked for many horror films. On Sunday i.e. 7th April, his family has officially confirmed the death of Gangu Ramsay.
Gangu Ramsay dies at the age of 83
Film producer and director Gangu Ramsay’s career spanned decades and he had worked in more than 50 superhit films under the Ramsay Brothers banner. They include classic films like ‘Veerana’, ‘Purana Mandir’, ‘Band Darwaza’, ‘Do Gaj Zameen Ke Neeche’, ‘Samri’, ‘Tahkhana’, ‘Puraani Haveli’ and ‘Khoj’. p style="text-align: justify;">
Gangu Ramsay worked with Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan in his first film ‘Aashiq Awara’. He also worked with Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar in films like ‘Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi’, ‘Sabse Bada Khiladi’.
Gangu Ramsay also made his mark on television and became a part of many great shows. On TV, he also worked in ‘Horror Show’, ‘Nagin’ and ‘Zimbo’. He has also worked in South films in which stars like South actor Vishnu Vardhan have been involved. A few years ago, Kumar Ramsay of Ramsay Brothers died of a heart attack at the age of 85. Kumar Ramsay had written scripts for films like ‘Purana Mandir’, Shatrughan Sinha starrer ‘Saaya’ and ‘Khoj’.
